FAQs

What do you put inside the toothbrush? We recommend starting with your cats favourite treat paste (the toothbrush comes with a paste treat to try). Once your cat likes this and is used to it you can swap to a cat friendly toothpaste.

Will my cat chew through the toothbrush? While we can’t guarantee that they won’t, we have tested our toothbrushes on many cats including large Maine coons and they have not broken them. Each model of toothbrush is stronger than the last!

What is the difference between PawSafe and Tasty Toothbrush?
Paw safe has a soft flexible end and is designed for little hands. Tasty Toothbrush has a harder rigid end which makes it easier for chewing, not recommended for children.

How long do they last? This depends on how often you use it. Some can years or months. It depends on your cat. We are always working to produce stronger models. They are re-usable and washable.

Can you buy replacement tops? Yes you can buy them in two packs from our website.

Are they reusable? Yes you can just wash out toothbrushes with hot water several times and let air dry and reuse as needed.

I have multiple cats, do they need one each or would they be okay with one? It is ideal to have one toothbrush per cat to maintain optimum oral hygiene.

My cat is missing teeth, will this be okay? If the teeth are stable and not wobbly this toothbrush should be fine and work to prevent further dental problems. But It’s best to check with your vet if you’re concerned.

My cat has no teeth at all, can this help? We would recommend talking to your vet about appropriate action to take. A safe option would be our PawSafe model, it has bristles and can still work like a toothbrush buts it’s a lot softer.

Can these be recycled or do you offer a recycling scheme? We are hoping to make these more eco friendly and offer a recycling scheme soon. At currently dispose as plastic waste.

Which puzzle feeder is best for my cat who has never used a puzzle feeder before?Hungry kitten is our smaller & easier to use model. Hungry Cat works the same but it’s a bit trickier to get the treats out.

My cat has gingivitis, will this work for them? Our toothbrush will work to help prevent further dental issues but it cannot guarantee it will fix any current dental issues.
